Who we are
Ibogaine Connect (“we,” “us”) operates ibogaineconnect.com, a directory and educational resource covering non-traditional treatments for addiction and mental health. We are an information service. We are not a medical provider, and nothing on this site is medical advice.
What we collect
Contact form. If you contact us, we collect the name, email address, and message you provide. We use this only to respond to you. We do not add you to any mailing list without your consent.
Analytics. With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site (pages visited, approximate region, device type). IP addresses are anonymized. Analytics only runs if you accept the “Statistics” category in our cookie banner; if you decline, no analytics cookies are set.
Cookies. We use a consent management tool (Complianz) to record your cookie choices. Essential cookies required for the site to function do not require consent. You can change your choices at any time via the cookie settings link in the footer.
What we do not collect
We do not ask for, and you should not submit, health information through this site. Any inquiry you send to a treatment provider listed in our directory goes to that provider under their own privacy policy, not ours. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Embedded content
Articles may embed videos (for example, from YouTube). We use privacy-enhanced embedding where available, which means the video platform does not set tracking cookies until you press play. Embedded content from other websites behaves as if you visited that website directly.
Who we share data with
We use service providers to run this site: WP Engine (hosting) and Google (analytics, with consent). These providers process data on our behalf and may store it on servers in the United States. We do not otherwise share, rent, or sell personal information.
How long we keep data
Contact form submissions are kept for up to 24 months so we can handle follow-up questions, then deleted. Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics settings (14 months). Cookie consent records are kept as required to demonstrate compliance.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including the EU/EEA, UK, California, and other US states with privacy laws), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising a privacy right.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy as the site evolves. The date at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be noted on this page.
